South America
This week the heroes fastened their seat belts and took an adventure into learning about South America on the map and some of their culture! I challenge you to ask them what is a popular dance there? Also, What is a popular food item made of bread and meat? They had an exciting week getting to explore their curiosities by trying out the “tango” style dance! They ended the week out with their chef hats on and each were able to make an empanada and eat it! The heroes enjoyed a fun game of trivia to challenge their brains on what they’ve learned about South America and North America so far on their geography quest.
These heroes showed bravery to try out something new with their studio mates. They even requested two do it again two more times, after their first try!
Jeopardy music in the back ground & a quiet audience while the contestants listened to their questions! The first one to buzz in was able to answer first. The heroes showed each other kindness and support while competing to answer first!
The empanadas were a hit & a hero favorite! They had to practice patience while waiting for them to cook!
The heroes recreated the Argentina Flag using construction paper.
